XXX SEM Congress

Alejandro and Rafa participated with members of the MLab in the XXX Congress of the Spanish Society of Microbiology (SEM) celebrated in Jaen from the 16th to the 19th of June. Over 300 microbiologists took part in this event with several activities and scientific meetings.

Both gave oral presentations. Alejandro presented his study on genome size of different taxonomic groups, while Rafa talked about the metagenomic analysis of a methanotrophic biofilm. The congress was an excellent opportunity to make new contacts, talk about future projects and discover hot research topics
