Pedro and Cleo defended their Master Thesis

Today, Pedro and Cleo defended their Master Thesis at the Universidad Autonóma de Madrid. They presented the results of their hard work during the last months. Both thesis focused on the same two metagenomics libraries. Cleo studied organisms related to anaerobic methane oxidation, while Pedro investigated the metabolic potential of a Lokiarchaeia. They did a fantastic job and obtained an excellent grade! Soon, they will do an internship at the Max Planck Institute of Marine Microbiology!
