Participation at the SAME18

The lab has participated in the last Sympsium of Aquatic Microbial Ecology (SAME18) held in Barcelona from the 28th of September until the 3rd of October 💧

Rafa gave an oral talk about a methanotrophic biofilm titled Metagenomic and lipidomic analysis of a marine subsurface biofilm involved in the anaerobic oxidation of methan. Alejandro presented a poster on the resistome of the Ría de Vigo: The role of microbial genomes as centiles of water quality on a semi-enclosed bay in northwest Spain. Víctor had also a poster on the ARGOS project with the title: Antimicrobial Resistance by metaGenomics Overview in a Sewage system (ARGOS).

It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas, discover new ideas, meet old and new friends and enjoy science!
