Farewell of Elena

Yesterday, we sadly had to say goodbye to Elena. After 7 months, her JAE-Intro scholarship is over. During this time, she has shown what a great researcher and co-worker she is. We will miss her during our lunch break, but we are sure her career is just starting.

She will still work on her project with the objective of publishing the results. Her analyses on Arctic Poseidonales have shown interesting findings on their evolution and metabolism.

During the summer, she will be working at the Royal Botanical Garden of Madrid as an environmental educator. We are sure she will be the best guide!
