Alejandro is here!

Alejandro Rodriguez Gijón is the new member of the lab. Last January, he defended his PhD at the group of Sarahi García (Stockholm University). During his doctoral thesis, he has researched on the ecological meaning of genome size in aquatic prokaryotes by using metagenomics.

Last January he obtained the Scholar Fund from the ISME Society to spend one month at the Museum writing new research proposals and `providing ideas for the bioinformatic pipeline of the ARGOS project.
